I earned my Masters Degree at the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana in the former century. In my somewhat nostalgic return I played a concert and guided a workshop with the Improvisers Exchange. Thanks to Jason Finkelman for producing the events, connecting me with old and new colleagues and encouraging fruitful discussions on improvisation, listening, structure and creativity.
