Marcel Wierckx’s technical and aesthetic guidance throughout the building process of La Berge’s works is invaluable.
He is a sound and video artist who creates music and image for concert, film, theatre and dance and is lecturer in Live Electronic Music at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music, and Composition and Creative System Design at the Utrecht School of Music and Technology.
His system design is the backbone of La Berge’s pieces Utter, Assail and the work-in-progress Conduits.
Their collaboration has been faithfully supported by the Amsterdam Funds for the Arts, The Creative Industries Funds and the Performing Arts Funds NL.
