The Dramm & La Berge duo played at the first Audio Arts Aoteroa Festival at the City Gallery in Wellington for our first tour gig.
We then drove up the North Island to teach and perform at the University of Auckland School of Music for a week. Our half-days off included some bushwacking and beach combing and a compositional adventure in the SoundDome. We played our Home Movies set as a lunch concert and our flute and guitar set at the Audio Foundation with some additional improvising with a group of delightfully eccentric local musicians.
We returned to Wellington to do some more teaching and lecturing and building relationships with colleagues and students that will last forever. We played our flute and guitar set at the Pyramid Club with some additional improvising with the locals that was dramatically different than our Audio Foundation gig. That’s the joy of musical meetings!
We were glad that we had the opportunity to present Splendor Amsterdam in a couple of lecture series. The musicians and arts communities in both Auckland and Wellington were curious and excited to find out just how Splendor works; artistically, financially and socially.
Our long list of thank you’s can be found on our Facebook and Instagram feeds.
