MAZE plays Paul Panhuysen

On 22 September, right in the middle of the Splendor Celebrations, MAZE played an especially special concert at the Orgelpark of the music of one of the Netherland’s historic audio installation composers, Paul Panhuysen.

PAUL PANHUYSEN was a pioneering composer-artist that used numbers to make visual and musical compositions. With numbers arranged in magic squares or plain sudokus Panhuysen could generate unpredictable works of great beauty and harmony without using the element of chance.

Paul was one of the first musicians I met when I moved to The Netherlands in 1989.
