A group of artists spent time from 13 – 19 October developing a work about the FOREST in Vancouver, Canada that resulted in 2 evenings of kind of ongoing performances at the end of the residency. Our fearless leader was Lisa Cay Miller and we were Olivia Shortt and Mind of a Snail and me with guest musicians Haley Bird and Aidan Edwards. The performances were at 8EAST in Chinatown, Vancouver.
The research, talks, stories and guided improvised performances brought a plethora of thoughts and wonderful music and visuals. The FOREST remains a complex subject.
