We performed the third version of my work Conduits for flute ensemble at the Netherlands Flute Festival with a whole new cast. This time I was the only flutist who performed on a Kingma System flute. Most of the ensemble played on low flutes built by Eva Kingma. This event was to honor Eva with the Kuiper prize which came as a complete surprise to her!
The next and hopefully final version of Conduits will be for 6 Kingma System flutes with flexible instrumentation where C, alto, bass and contrabass flutes can be interchanged depending on the ensemble.
